| Lyrics: | How many candles
Will the birthday girl/boy take?
How many candles
On her/his birthday cake?
(Then choose one of the following verses,
adapted as necessary to fit the child's age)
Three, or four?
Then one more!
Five little candles
On her/his birthday cake!
Three, or four?
Not one more!
Four little candles
On her/his birthday cake!
Six, or seven
Will he take?
Seven little candles
On her/his birthday cake!
One, or two?
That will do!
Two little candles
On her/his birthday cake! |
